Tiki's Playhouse - Doggy Day Care and More serving Howard County, Baltimore County Maryland

Inspiration comes in many forms.

For Kelvin Abrams, founder of Tiki's Playhouse, it was the passing of his Weimaraner, Tiki.

Tiki was just 11 months old when Kelvin came home from work and found him paralyzed, the victim of spinal-cord bleeding from a previously undiagnosed ailment. At this heart-wrenching moment, Kelvin knew his future would be very different.

Tiki had spent much of his short life in a crate while his owner was at work. Kelvin wanted a better life for dogs while their owners were away from home, and dedicated himself to starting Tiki's Playhouse with that same mission. A year later, that vision is now reality.
